Travel grants

The organizers cover the costs of accommodation for two nights (April 25 and 26.). A limited number of contributions to travel costs are available on a competitive basis. Please send a statement of financial need including a proof of your expected expenses. Please not that this is only a contribution to your travel expenses.

Transportation

The venue of the conference is within walking distance from the hotels, however if you would like to do sightseeing we advise you to use the Budapest public transportation website (http://www.bkv.hu/en/). All needed information (route planner, ticket and pass prices, schedules, etc) is available in English.

Single tickets cost 350 ft (=1,20 euro)

How to get to City Hotel Mátyás from

> Liszt Ferenc Airport: Take bus 200E to Kőbánya-Kispest metro station, from there take the metro to Ferenciek tere.

Keleti-Ferenciek-Matyas

> Nyugati railway station:

Metro 3 from Nyugati pályaudvar in the direction of Kőbánya-Kispest, get off at Ferenciek tere.

> Keleti railway station:

You can take any of the following buses in the direction of Ferenciek tere: 5, 7, 7E, 173, 173E, 178.

> Népliget bus terminal: From Népliget station take metro 3 in the direction of Újpest-Központ, get off at Ferenciek tere.

How to get to Hotel Ibis from:

> Liszt Ferenc Airport: Take bus 200E to Kőbánya-Kispest metro station. Take the metro to Corvin negyed, there change to tram 4 or 6, get off at Blaha Lujza tér. Hotel Ibis is a 2 min. walk from there.

> Keleti railway station: You can walk (it takes 15 min.), or take the metro or any of the following buses (5, 7, 178, 173E) to Blaha Lujza tér. Hotel Ibis is a 2 min. walk from there.
